1. Introduction and acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Radiant platform, website, and related services (together, the "Service") provided by Radiant Solar Ltd ("Radiant", "we", "us", or "our"). The Service is operated from radiantsolar.io.
By registering for an account, accessing the Service, or using any part of it, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Radiant Solar Ltd.
2. About the service
Radiant is a customer relationship management platform built for UK commercial solar installers. The Service includes tools for:
- managing companies, contacts, and sales pipelines;
- creating proposals and digital deal rooms;
- generating and distributing leads, including referral partner workflows;
- hosting installer landing pages and managing review requests;
- optimising Google Business Profile presence through OpenLead;
- syncing calendars with Google Calendar, Microsoft 365/Outlook Calendar, and Calendly for booking site visits and meetings; and
- reporting, analytics, and administrative controls.
We may add, change, or remove features from time to time. We will endeavour to notify you of material changes that affect how you use the Service.
3. Eligibility and accounts
The Service is intended for businesses and authorised representatives acting on behalf of a business, primarily UK commercial solar installation companies. You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind the business you represent.
When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access or use.
You may not share account credentials, create accounts on behalf of others without their consent, or use another user's account without permission.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. Without limitation, you must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including by introducing viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- scrape, crawl, spider, or otherwise automatically extract data from the Service without our written consent;
- overload, spam, or otherwise impair the Service's infrastructure;
- send unsolicited or unlawful communications through the Service;
- misuse, disclose, or process other users' or your customers' personal data except as permitted by law and these Terms; or
- infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any person.
You are responsible for ensuring that any data you upload or process through the Service, including personal data about your customers and leads, is collected and used lawfully.
5. Customer data and third-party integrations
You retain ownership of the data you upload, create, or generate through the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant Radiant Solar Ltd and our subprocessors a limited licence to host, process, back up, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service.
For personal data about your customers and leads that you process through the Service, you are the data controller and we act as your data processor, as described in our Privacy Policy. You warrant that you have a lawful basis for processing that data and that its collection, use, and sharing through the Service comply with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR.
The Service integrates with third-party services that you may choose to connect, including Google (Business Profile, Calendar, Places), Microsoft 365/Outlook Calendar, Calendly, OpenSolar, Stripe, Resend, Airtable, and others. Your use of those integrations is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. When you connect an integration, you authorise us to access and exchange data as needed to provide the requested feature. How we collect, use, store, and share data from those integrations is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
Radiant Solar Ltd and our licensors own all intellectual property rights in and to the Service, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and content made available by us. These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in the Service.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service during your subscription or trial, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted by law.
You retain ownership of your Customer Data. By using features that generate shareable links, proposals, or landing pages, you authorise us to display that content to the recipients you choose.
7. Fees and subscription
Some parts of the Service may be provided on a paid subscription basis. Where fees apply, the amounts, billing frequency, and payment terms will be as agreed between you and Radiant Solar Ltd, or as shown in your account settings or order form.
Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing. We may change our fees by giving you reasonable notice before the change takes effect.
Failure to pay fees when due may result in suspension or termination of your account. You remain responsible for all charges incurred prior to cancellation.
8. Service availability and disclaimer
We aim to keep the Service available and functioning on a reasonable-efforts basis. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free access. The Service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including features or integrations, with reasonable notice where practicable. We will not be liable if any modification, suspension, or discontinuance affects your use of the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your particular requirements or produce specific business results, such as a minimum number of leads, sales, or commissions.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Radiant Solar Ltd and our directors, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the total amount you paid to Radiant Solar Ltd for the Service in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or £100 if no fees were paid during that period.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your account at any time by contacting us or, where available, through your account settings. You remain responsible for all charges incurred before cancellation.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in unlawful conduct, or pose a risk to the Service or other users. We will endeavour to notify you of the suspension or termination where practicable.
On termination for any reason, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will make your Customer Data available for export for a reasonable period, after which we may delete or anonymise it in accordance with our data retention practices and applicable law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, the Service, or our business practices. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and will endeavour to notify you through the Service or by email.
Your continued use of the Service after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
12. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
